Effective 6 October 2026

The short version

  • We respect copyright, and we expect people who use SeaNama to do the same.
  • SeaNama hosts no media. No film or show is stored on, or passes through, seanama.com or our update service.
  • We can act on what is on our own services. We can't remove anything from add-ons, debrid services or instances run by other people.

1. What we host, and what we don't

SeaNama is media player software. It finds nothing on its own: everything it plays comes from third-party add-ons and services that its users or their hosts choose. We don't run, list, recommend or control any of those add-ons, and the app ships with none.

Our own services are this website, our update service (which hosts the SeaNama software itself), and any instance we run. None of them stores or streams media.

2. Reporting something on our services

If you believe something on seanama.com, our update service or an instance we run infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with:

  1. your name, address, phone number and email address;
  2. the work you believe is being infringed, and whether you own it or are authorised to act for the owner;
  3. exactly where the material is on our services (a full URL), so we can find it;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

We review every complete notice and will remove or disable material that infringes. Notices sent in the format of Canada's notice-and-notice regime (Copyright Act, ss. 41.25–41.27) or the United States' DMCA are also accepted.

3. Material elsewhere

If your concern is about what a particular add-on, debrid service, website or instance makes available, please contact whoever runs it; we have no access to it and no way to change it. If you can't tell who runs an instance, you can write to us with its address and we'll pass your notice on if we can identify the operator.

4. If we removed something of yours

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, write to [email protected] explaining why, with your contact details and signature. We may forward your reply to the person who sent the notice.

5. Repeat infringement

On services we run, we will remove access for anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright.
